About the event
The Fruitvale Holiday Las Posada aka Posada, is a collaborative effort between The Unity Council, the OakLuv Foundation, CM Noel Gallo and the Fruitvale Public Market's very own Nieve Cinco de Mayo. Posada is an annual family friendly community event that mixes the traditional Mexican Holiday with winter street festival fun. This years Posada has a STEM theme and will feature educational activities by local STEM nonprofits and public school programs, as well as caroling, pony rides, toys for kids, tamales and pinatas. The festival will also features a Holiday Market with local artisans and community resource booths.
Deeply Rooted Oakland will set up a booth at the event Fruitvale Holiday Posada to connect with people about the General Plan 2045.
